Renewing expiring documents in time

When an energy certificate expires or a land-register extract goes stale, the maintenance plan proposes a date before the document stops counting.

Step by step

  1. When uploading or editing a document, enter its “Valid until” date where the document has one.For example the energy certificate
  2. Open the “Maintenance plan” in the Mappe. It lists proposals such as “Renew energy certificate” or “Update land-register extract”, each with its reason.Only for documents that are in the Mappe
  3. Select the proposals that fit and click “Add as dates”.Nothing is entered without your choice
  4. The adopted dates appear under “Dates & deadlines” like any other entry. Upload the new document once you have it.Dates can be changed or deleted

The result: A date some time before the document expires or goes stale, instead of a completeness score that drops unnoticed.

Important: ImmoDok shows computed dates and checks no deadline. An expiry date comes from your entry, the “stale after” rule from the ImmoDok catalogue; neither is a statutory deadline. Which state a sale requires is decided by bank and notary.

What if it does not work?

No proposal appears for a document.
A proposal appears only if the document has an expiry date or its type has a freshness rule in the catalogue. If the “Valid until” date is missing, add it to the document.
The proposal has disappeared.
Once a proposal exists as a date in the Mappe, it is not offered again.
There is no date for a missing document.
Intended: the maintenance plan only proposes renewing documents that exist. What is still missing is shown by the Mappe's completeness.
