- In the property file, open “Vacancy” on the left and enter since when the house stands empty.Whoever may edit the property file
- Enter after how many days of vacancy your insurer wants to be told under your conditions.60 is only a starting value
- Copy the notice to the insurer, send it yourself and then enter the date.No further reminder after that
- Record each inspection: date, who checked, what was done and, if you like, photos.Location data is removed from photos
- When the house is used again, end the vacancy. Its reminders disappear. The log stays in the property file
The result: You keep your insurer's deadline in view and have a dated record of your inspections.
Important: Whether and when you must tell your insurer, and which duties apply while the house stands empty, is in your insurance conditions. Check them; ImmoDok does not know your contract.
