An invitation does not work

Expired link, wrong account, missing rights: the typical reasons an invited person cannot get in.

Step by step

  1. Check the link's age: invitations lapse after 30 days by default.Visible under “Share”
  2. Regenerate the invitation if needed; the old link becomes invalid.Also sensible after accidental forwarding
  3. The invited person must register or sign in with the invited e-mail address.The link is personal
  4. If the person sees "only a summary": that is the data room's preview role, full access follows the takeover.Not a bug, the protection mechanism

What if it does not work?

The invitation e-mail never arrived.
Check the spam folder and the spelling of the address. The invitation link can also be copied and handed over another way.
