Co-ownership and representation at the handover

Step by step

  1. Open the handover and its “Parties” card.Split into handing-over and receiving side
  2. Use “Add person” for every co-owner, with name, e-mail, position and share.The share is free text, “1/2” for instance
  3. If a person will not confirm personally, pick a person from the same side under “Represented by”, with the date of the authority and, if needed, the document.Before the protocol is frozen
  4. Invite people with “Send folder invitation” so they can confirm the protocol themselves.Without an account: on paper or represented

The result: Every person on both sides confirms the protocol personally or is explicitly represented, and the protocol shows who acted for whom.

Important: ImmoDok assumes no representation and no knowledge, not even between spouses (statutory representation between spouses exists only for everyday transactions, § 1357 BGB), and does not check any power of attorney. Whether an authority is valid is for the parties to settle.

What if it does not work?

The representation can no longer be changed.
It must be named before the protocol is frozen. After that the frozen version applies; a correction goes through an addendum.
A person has no ImmoDok account.
They cannot confirm electronically. They sign the printout or are represented by a person from their side.
