- Open the folder's "Overview" and, in the "Insurance" section, "Schaden melden".Needs write access to the folder
- Enter the date, the type and what happened. Describe only what you saw, not the cause and no fault.Include the extent and what you have already done
- Choose the insurance contract from the folder or enter insurer and number. For a burglary add the police reference.Up to eight photos from the folder go with it as enclosures
- With the tasks box ticked ImmoDok adds: report now, keep damaged parts, police and stolen-goods list for a burglary, ask for an interim payment after a month. The tasks appear in "Dates & deadlines"
- The claim notice opens as a PDF. Check it, sign it and send it to the insurer.Later reachable via "Schadenmeldung" on the claim
The result: The damage is in the claims history, the duties are dated in your calendar, and the insurer gets a factual notice asking for instructions.
Important: The claim notice is a template with your facts, not legal advice. It says nothing about cover, cause or fault. Your policy conditions say what your contract requires.

What if it does not work?
- The "Schaden melden" button is missing.
- It appears in the overview's "Insurance" section for everyone who may edit the folder, and not for a plot without a building.
- How fast must I report?
- Without undue delay (§ 30 VVG). Report by phone at once if you can and send the written notice afterwards.
